Look up a payment

POST /payment-Lookup returns one payment that belongs to your merchant.

  • If paymentUuid is given it is used; otherwise referenceCode.
  • paymentUuid here is the processor’s transaction id (the paymentUuid of the create response), not transactionUuid.
  • Some processors give no processor id (the FTD stand-in is one), so look those up by referenceCode.
  • A payment owned by another merchant is reported exactly like a missing one: 404.

The response has transactionUuid, paymentUuid, type (DEPOSIT, REFUND or CHARGEBACK), status, amount, currencyIso3, message and referenceCode. Remember that an in-flight payment is PENDING here and IN PROGRESS in the create response.
